PERMANENT MAKEUP

PMU (Permanent Makeup) is the art of enhancing the eyebrows, eyeliner and lips through precise, long-lasting cosmetic tattooing. Each treatment is designed using the golden ratio (Phi 1.618) and detailed facial morphology to create harmonious, natural-looking results. To ensure symmetry, the Phi App is used as a guide, and all procedures are performed with fully disposable, sterile and hygienic equipment. PhiBrows Microblading and PhiContour offer advanced techniques that correct natural asymmetries, refine shape and colour, and enhance overall facial balance. PMU is suitable for anyone 18 years or older who wishes to improve or highlight the appearance of their eyebrows, eyes or lips.

Avoid before your appointment:

  • Aesthetic injectables

  • Sun or UV exposure

  • Alcohol or caffeine on the day

  • Have sensitive or reactive skin

PMU AFTERCARE ADVICE

Normal reactions (first few days):

  • Swelling, redness, tenderness

  • Dry, flaking skin

  • Itching

Do:

  • Clean the area twice daily with the provided water wipes or a clean damp cotton pad

  • Apply a thin layer of balm with a fresh cotton bud each time (less is more)

  • For eyes: rinse with saline only, no balm

  • Use the balm minimally for 1 week

Don’t:

  • Pick, peel, or touch the area – this can cause uneven healing and infection

  • Apply makeup for 1 week

  • Use rich creams – thick layers suffocate the skin

  • Submerge in water for 1 week

  • Receive skincare or beauty treatments for 1 week

  • Wax, electrolysis, or laser near the area for 2 weeks

  • Expose the area to direct sun, tanning, jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, or direct shower spray for 2 weeks

  • Apply strong skincare near the area

  • Apply lash extensions or lifts for 2 weeks (eyeliner).

Colour healing timeline:

  • Days 1–3: Colour appears darker and more defined

  • Days 3–7: Itching and flaking may occur; some pigment may come off in patches

  • After flakes fall off: Pigment may appear lighter, then blossoms over 6 weeks

Note: Some unevenness is normal; the second session corrects this.

Long-Term Care

  • Apply a good sunscreen (SPF 50 recommended) to prevent fading

  • Inform us if planning chemical peels, laser procedures, or MRI scans (pigments contain Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, and Carbon)

  • Blood donors: you may not be eligible for 4 months post-treatment
