PERMANENT MAKEUP

PMU is the art of permanent eyebrows, eyeliner and lip colouring. Forming a shape based on the golden ratio (Phi 1.618) and facial morphology. Symmetry is determined with the assistance of the Phi App and all treatments are carried out using disposable, sterile and hygienic equipment. PhiBrows Microblading and PhiContour offer various techniques for the correction of natural imperfections, colour and shape, in accordance with aesthetics criteria. PMU is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 who wishes to correct or enhance the appearance of their eyebrows, lips or eyes.

PRE-TREATMENT

For a successful results, the skin must not be in the process of regeneration. In other words, it must not be damaged or recovering from damage.

TREATMENT PROCESS

The first step is to pre-draw the shape. This provides a guideline during the treatment, corrects any irregularities and enhances symmetry. Microblading is performed using sterile, disposable tools that create micro cuts while manually inserting pigment into the skin. Eyeliner and Lip Blush is performed using a PMU machine that deposits pigment into the skin via a needle cartridge. These machines give a very gentle and precise touch, minimising skin injury and creating beautiful results.

POST-TREATMENT

Post-treatment care accounts for 70% of the results. It is essential to adhere to the aftercare advice until the skin has fully recovered.

Please avoid the following 2 wks after you treatment:

Swimming
Sauna
Sports
UV exposure/tanning
Application of makeup or cosmetic products to the pigmented area
Touching or scratching the pigmented area

CONSULTATION

A consultation and sensitivity patch test is essential before booking a new treatment. A £50 deposit is required if you wish to book your appointment and this is offset against the price.

£200 PER SESSION

Two sessions are required for new clients to achieve optimum results. The second session is performed 4-6 weeks after the first session. Future top-up sessions are recommended every 1-3 years.

Please note:

Skin types and results vary considerably and you may require more than two treatments to achieve your desired result. It is only possible to work on the skin a maximum of 3 times during the space of 1 year. Minimum space between treatments is 1 month.

SALINE PMU REMOVAL

Saline solution tattoo removal is a natural and safe method for removing permanent makeup. In short, it works by lightening and lifting the pigments that were placed under the skin during a PMU treatment. The level of discomfort is no more than the initial procedure, and this type of removal is suitable for removal of pigments from the face where scarring and hyperpigmentation are more noticeable.

How does it work?

Saline removal uses osmosis as a way to pull the pigment out of the skin. To do so, a trained permanent makeup artist will use their standard PMU machine and needles with the solution, which will be made of salt and purified water. Once the solution is under the skin, it effectively pulls at the pigment, helping to draw it up through the layers of skin to the fresh wounds. Over the next few days, the area will form a scab, just like it did when the pigments were first implanted. The pigment is drawn up into the scab, so that once it’s healed and dropped off, it takes the pigment with it! Clients will likely need a few sessions to see the full effectiveness of the removal but this will be judged on a case by case basis, with sufficient time between sessions to allow for healing.
